Dog in the basket

Thankyou once againf for the third return to Kookawood. The weekend away for my birthday  as last year was very very special. I think I will have to make this a yearly birthday treat for the future. My family who make my life sunshine 'Thankyou' and having our much beloved dogs Murphy and Pollyanna with us made our stay just perfect!  A perfect house, perfect location see you again next time.  Cherie and Matt.

Thankyou so much for sharing your property with us, it was truly a magical weekend!

The views are stunning and your hospitality was exceptional!

There are certain moments in life that guide your direction towards dreams and aspirations- embracing the energy that lives at kookawoood as well as the intricate details of creativity has been a joyous learning experience for us both. Thankyou for opening the doors to your beautiful house!

Well how amazing is it here.We were just a couple of days to relax and unwind but Kookawood gives you so much more. Of course the house is spectacular and the views are breathtaking but its all the hundreds of little things which entice you to lock the doors and stay forever. Thankyou so much.

Its only 2 hrs from Sydney but it feels like you are a million miles away. We love the rustic charm and the remoteness of this property. All our boys (albeit they are surfers) thoroughly enjoyed yabbying , trout fishing and exploring new terrain. My 50th and our 28th wedding anniversary was the best I could have - with my wonderful family, we will be back!

We are full of admiration at your handiwork both inside and out which perfectly compliment the landscape!
Our most grateful thanks for all your kind hospitality.

Such a unique experience to stay in this beautiful house oozing charm and character. To escape a busy life and see my kids enjoy a myriad of exciting adventures offered here has been fabulous. You have created a very special place - a credit to you.

It has been a privilege staying at Kookawood! It is very apparent that a lot of love has gone into this unique home. It is an inviting and homely holiday destination made all the more special with your creative style and artistic attention to detail. We will be back only for longer next time to enjoy the ambience, views, nature and the excited squeals of the kids as they dash from yabby pot to collecting eggs and spotting kangaroos. Loved everything about the place. Thankyou

What an amazing and beautiful home you have here. We cant thankyou enough for the most enjoyable 5 days we have ever had in the mountains. The view, log fire, longwalks in the forest, rustic charm of the cottage are pretty unbeatable and to be able to bring our 2 pooches with us made our stay complete. We will most definitely be back.

“Fiona and Michael thank you for generously sharing your lovely space with us. Your home is full of imagination and dreams in flight. Being here has bought back fleeting memories of times when it feels like anything is possible if we only believe in ourselves and be true to our passion. In short staying in your place is not only a restful break but an inspiring experience that refreshes the spirit as well as the body. We loved the bush walks with our mad dog and the view of endless possibilities....Thanks for the opportunity to share a bit of your journey.” Jazz and Renee  Orange NSW
